Individual Therapy

No matter what you may be experiencing, there's no reason for you to keep facing it alone.

Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

Ultimately, any situation that causes an individual distress and/or interferes with the ability to perform optimally in one's life (e.g., family relationships, work, school, etc.) can be treated in individual therapy. While we all consider it wise to seek professional help with physical aches and pains, many people find it difficult (or even shameful) to ask for help in dealing with mental stress and strain. Talking to family and friends may work for some issues, but when problems reoccur, it's time to talk with someone trained to help.

If you've been experiencing difficulties related to depression, anxiety, sexual malfunction, eating disorders, marital difficulties, anger, stress, or general dissatisfaction with life, we can help. At LRT, Inc., we allow clients the time they need to delve into the issues they're facing, as well as into root causes and ways to cope.
