LRT, Incorporated opened its doors in the mid-1990s under the direction of its founder, Dr. Linda Rollins-Threats. After establishing offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, the practice expanded to include conflict resolution, mediation, and collaborative law.

About Dr. Threats: Since 1980, Dr. Threats had been involved in nearly every aspect of mental health (public/private care, management/supervision, education, research & development). She began working in the public sector with families in poverty, veterans, the elderly, and adults with special needs before moving to the field of education. As a professor, graduate advisor, and field supervisor, Dr. Threats helped groom generations of TWU, UNT, & UTA students in understanding and providing care for those in need. After stepping down as Assistant Dean of the School of Social Work (University of Texas-Arlington), she opened her own private practice. Currently, her focus includes:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Parent Facilitator (Collin, Denton, Dallas, Tarrant and Cooke County family courts)
  • Certified Family/Divorce Mediator (Texas)
  • Collaborative divorce MHP Communications Coach
  • Clinical Field Work Supervisor (ACP approved)
  • Director of Family United Research Project
